Summer Songfest (1st-5th grade)

PGC Summer Songfest @ Shadyside Presbyterian Church
Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 5:30 – 7:30 

Who:  Girls entering 1st – 5th grades and their parents
Registration is free and open to PGC choristers, friends and anyone who wants to find out more about PGC 

What:  Folksongs, dances and games from various North American traditions, including Mexicano, Appalachian, African-American, Nova Scotian and more!

5:30 – 6:30 

• For students: multicultural folksongs, games and dances  
• 5:30 – 6:00 For parents: information session about the Pittsburgh Girls Choir and Q and A 
• 6:00 – 6:30 For parents: Observe class 

6:30 – 7:00 

• Students share favorite songs and dances with parents 
• Parents get to participate!

7:00 – 7:30 Ice Cream Social for all
