Sing for Service
Saturday, February 29
Event Details
Pittsburgh Girls Choir is an organization comprised of five different choral ensembles, spanning the ages of 6 to 18. We’re excited to be celebrating our 15th year as part of Pittsburgh’s cultural life.
In Pittsburgh Girls Choir, choristers are taught that performance is service to our audience and the other choristers. Our mission is about working together to bring beauty to others. On Saturday, February 29, we will be living out this mission in a performance-packed singing event called Sing for Service. During this day-long event, the choirs will sing for residents at Canterbury Place and the Reformed Presbyterian Home and share the joy of music with over 150 residents.
Our choirs bring girls together from various schools in and around Pittsburgh, and no girl is turned away because she’s unable to pay tuition. To help us fund our 2020 singing endeavors and continue to support every chorister who needs to use the PGC’s sliding scale tuition, will you sponsor me as I use my voice in service this year with the Pittsburgh Girls Choir?
Please consider sponsoring at one of these levels:
_____ Friend $25
_____ Sponsor $50
_____ Patron $100
_____ Artist’s Circle $200
_____ Maestro’s Circle $500
But any gift is welcome! Checks can be made payable to “Pittsburgh Girls Choir” and returned in the enclosed return envelope, or visit our website at pittsburghgirlschoir.com/support-pgc/ to donate online.
Thank you so much for considering supporting me and the Pittsburgh Girls Choir! I know you receive so many appeals, and we are one of many worthy options.
