EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Administrative Coordinator
Job Description:
The Pittsburgh Girls Choir (PGC) is hiring a part-time Administrative Coordinator to support and streamline the administrative day to day operations of the organization. This position will require an estimated time commitment of about 15 hours a week with a flexible work schedule. There is the possibility to grow this position to include additional hours and shared work with our administrative affiliate organization, the Pittsburgh Camerata, in Fall 2022.

To address the challenges of the Delta Variant (Covid), PGC will be observing the following age group specific guidelines:
Staff: Full Vaccination is required
Women of Song will be 100% in person
- Full vaccination required
- Social distancing will be observed
- Mask-wearing protocols will be considered on a week-by-week basis based on CDC guidelines and any implemented requirements at St. Andrew’s church. Currently, all singers are expected to wear a mask while indoors.
Concentio and Chamber Choir: 100% in Person
- Vaccination recommended but not required
- Social distancing will be observed
- Masks mandatory for both students and faculty
Training Choirs (Melodia, Harmonia and Via)
- Option #1: 100% in person on Tuesdays (limited class size)*
- If 12 or older, vaccination is recommended but not required
- Masks required for both students and faculty
- Social distancing will be observed
- Option #2: 100% virtual on Wednesdays **/*** (same time schedule as Tuesday)
- Option #3: Hybrid – Singers alternate between in person and virtual (will be preassigned)
- Option #4: Attend all in person and all virtual (no extra charge)
* If the number of choristers choosing in person exceeds the limit, preference will be given to those who register 1st
**At any point, parents can switch to fully virtual
*** Our hope is to be fully in person at some point this year
There will be two brief informational/Q&A zoom sessions with Director, Kathryn Barnard, to review the above options: Tuesday September 7th at 7:30pm and Wednesday September 8th at 7:30pm. A zoom link will be emailed to parents next month.
