About the Audition

Thank you for your interest in Pittsburgh Girls Choir! For thirteen years, we have been dedicated to the creating strong communities of girls united by the desire to grow in musical knowledge, vocal/performance skills, cultural awareness and personal responsibility in a hard-working and fun environment.

Group Auditions are for singers entering grades 3-5. Those entering grades 1-2 (Fall 2019) are invited to sign up for our non-auditioned Level I Training Choir, Melodia; and girls entering grades 6-12 are asked to submit an audition form and schedule an individual audition with director, Kathryn Barnard before August’s Concentio camp.

We believe that every girl can learn to sing and do not reject anyone. The purpose of the audition is to help us place each girl in the choir which will enable her to thrive.

To request an audition, please fill out the form here.
